I’m such a huge fan of the entire series that I could never find a way to rank them
it isn’t easy to ranks these films at all. I feel your pain lol. I gave it much thought and re watched them all and it all came a bit easier to me where to put them in order. I’m glad you enjoyed the posters and I appreciate you checking in, Rob 👊

Great listings. My top 3 would be the same. Force Awakens and Rogue One are tough to separate, I love them both, but I think Rogue One just has that edgier darker tone I like best when it comes to Star Wars, so I’d probably swap them around on this list. I’d also swap Ep 2 and Ep 1 around, sorry, I’m not a fan of the Phantom Menace. Cool idea to update your rankings for the Star Wars films, love the images and artwork as well 🙂
my previous post had TPM and AoftC swapped but when I revisted them I decided that I enjoyed TPM a tad more because it was bit more fast moving and livelier I suppose. AoftC felt bogged down by too much exposition and the anakin padme love story which was so flat, wooden and boring for me. Don’t get me wrong, there is still much to enjoy in clones and I still like to revisit it (that JW score is so haunting and exciting) but I felt that TPM moved at good clip and whenever jar jar wasn’t onscreen, it was quite enjoyable. But at times, I can see why many didn’t dig it. I’m glad you liked the update and posters, Paul and thanks for stopping by, my friend! 👊
I watched the Star Wars films again over the holidays. You raise to great and valid points about Eps 1 & 2, I agree, but just can’t get past Jar Jar in Ep 1. But you are right, the Anakin Padme romance in ep 2 makes me cringe as well. It was fun to revisit the films again though, especially now with The Force Awakens and Rogue One to consider. I’d rank Episode 1 as the worst myself (a truly terrible film) but your list is pretty spot on otherwise! Nice one.
I originally had Ep 1 and 2 swapped but 2 was bogged down by top much exposition and a hokey romance imo. 1 was at least quick moving and livelier for me….Jar Jar though… Ugh. Glad you enjoyed the list and thanks for checking in! 👊

5. Rogue One
6. The Force Awakens
7. The Phantom Menace
8. Attack of the Clones
I’m still juggling my thoughts on Rogue One, so that may move up, but it will most certainly stay ahead of The Force Awakens. Attack of the Clones will always be the worst in my opinion. It’s just terrible on every level.
funny thing, I had clones and menace swapped in my earlier ranking. I guess they are interchangeable for me sometimes. but menace was a bit more livelier and clones had way too much exposition and a very bland romance at its core. you’re right, its bad on many levels. interesting that you rank sith 3rd ahead of rogue one and awakens. very cool. probably won’t see that on many lists. thanks for checking in and giving me your ranking of the films! much appreciated 👊
