Great collection of pics!! John Carpenter is such a badass. This just made me want to go in the other room and watch Halloween with commentary. I may just do that, in fact.
Kurt Russell makes his wine at the winery where I work. I wanted to tell him how awesome I thought he (and his beard) was in “The Thing” the one time I met him, but instead I just shook his hand and talked about websites and pretended not to be starstruck.
I love Halloween. I haven’t heard that commentary in a long time. I love The Thing commentary with JC and Kurt. Great stuff. I didn’t know Russell made wine. Cool. There is no way I could have acted so calm around Kurt like you did. I’m sure he felt easier being around you though than most starstruck people. Russell seems like such a down to earth dude too. Yes, Debra passed away, unfortunately in 2005. Not sure but it may have been breast cancer. The casual shots of JC with all of his casts and crew are very cool. My son and I just listened to JC and Kurt discussing “The Thing” on the blu ray. Great stuff. I hope they have at least one more movie together in them! And thanks for the nom, bro!
