Just in time for Halloween, Kiddies, Netflix has made John Carpenter’s Suspense/Horror thriller “The Ward” available for instant streaming. Sit back and get creeped out by JC’s latest film which takes place in the ward of a haunted psychiatric hospital. Amber Heard impresses (as do the rest of the capable cast) here as Kristen. And like always Carpenter handles the suspense, composition and old school chills with a deft and professional hand. Not the comeback I was waiting for from JC but The Ward is a great tease. Enjoy.
