I currently have mixed feelings about this incarnation of ole webhead. It does seem to follow the Ultimate Spider-Man comics a bit. Parker is younger, we delve into his past, Aunt May and Uncle Ben play a more prominent part and we see his parents. I did feel it was a bit soon for a “Reboot” and re-telling of his origin but this version of Spidey appears to want to stay very true to the Spidey canon. For example the web shooters, they are made by Parker and not organic like in Raimi’s version. We’ll see how it all turns out in 2012. What do you all think?
